Abstract:
Exosomes are a kind of multivesicular bodies with dynamic subcellular structure. Most of living cells can produce and secrete exosomes. Exosomes are involved in many physiological and pathological processes, and play an important role in the occurrence, development, invasion and distant metastasis of various tumors, including pancreatic cancer. Pancreatic cancer is a kind of digestive system tumor with high malignancy, characterized by insidious onset, rapid progress, high mortality and poor prognosis. Exosomes show great values in the research of occurrence, development, diagnosis, treatment and prognosis of pancreatic cancer. In this article, we provide a review on the recent advances of exosomes in pancreatic cancer.
